Rasa News Agency reports – Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli-Larijani, head of the judiciary branch, Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani, head of the Expediency Council, Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati, chairman of the Guardian Council and Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Hasan Khomeini visited Ayatollah Khamenei in hospital this afternoon, following the Supreme Leader’s operation this morning. They expressed their satisfaction with the Supreme Leader’s condition and prayed for his health and length of life.
Dr. Ali-Reza Marandi, head of the Supreme Leader’s medical team, has expressed his satisfaction with the results of the operation conducted this morning. He said that the procedure was conducted early in the morning and lasted less than 30 minutes with local anasthesia and without the need for general anesthesia and without any complications.
Also, President Hasan Rohani visited the Supreme Leader in hospital this morning. Expressing his satisfaction with the performance of the medical team and the Supreme Leader’s health, he said: “All people should pray for His Eminence’s health, length of life and increased opportunities in service of the people of Iran and the world of Islam.”
