Rasa News Agency reports – In an interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Hasan Mamdouhi, a member of the Society of the Seminary Teachers of Qom, referred to the new sanctions that the United States has imposed against Iran, saying Iran’s success in continuing the process of negotiations will depend on the performance of its negotiating team. He stated that for these negotiations to be successful, the team must gather their senses more than before.

He emphasized that Iran is not participating in the talks to establish friendly relations with the United States, and said: “The truth is that America is not friendly with any country, even their relationship with the Saudis has the outward appearance of being friendly, but in fact it is an example of the greatest betrayal.”

The representative in the Assembly of Experts for the people of Kermanshah explained that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution (Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei) agreed to continue the process of negotiations with the US without any expectation that they would stop committing crimes. Our negotiations were to prove to the world and be on record that the United States is a unreliable criminal which will never fulfill any of its promises.

Ayatollah Mamdouhi said it is natural that the US will tighten sanctions on Iran and that we cannot expect otherwise. They will never remove the sanctions on Iran. This is proof that they are our enemies and are after any excuse to harm the Islamic Republic of Iran. The only way to resolve the difficulties ahead and reduce the effects of the sanctions is to be a self-reliant country and never rely on the United States and its aid.

He concluded by stating that the US was trying to limit Iran’s missile capability during recent negotiations, and that this request was an excess and for this reason, Iran told them that this issue is none of their business.
