A group of Iranian lawyers and attorneys, known as Lawyers Without Borders, has condemned violence against Muslims of India, urging the country's Bar Council to uphold their rights.

The founder of the whistle-blowing website WikiLeaks has been blocked from access to his lawyers to discuss his potential extradition to the United States of America following his arrest inside the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. Now held in Belmarsh high security prison, Assange fears his extradition to the US may lead to the death penalty for alleged crimes including conspiring to commit computer treason.
