Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Mohsen Baharvand said on Sunday that Washington had begged Iran to refrain from carrying out any retaliatory attack against the US interests immediately after assassination of former IRGC Quds Force Commander Lieutenant General Qassem Soleimani.
