RNA – Speaking to the pilgrims, Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi, one of the prominent sources of emulation in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf emphasized the importance of adhering to the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad.
He also said that everyone should consider the correct methods of interacting with others in accordance with Islamic law.
His Eminence also replied to some of the arguments expressed by Takfiris against Shi’ism adding that the arguments and suspicions raised are strikes aimed at distorting original Muhammadan Islam by the enemies of Islam.
Ayatollah al-Najafi also met with Iraq's ambassador to Germany, Hussain Mahmoud al-Khatib later today to discuss latest developments.
During the meeting, the renowned source of emulation stressed upon the necessity of solving the problems facing Iraqi citizens living in Germany, adding that the embassy of Iraq should play a father-like role for all Iraqis in the European country in order to give them a sense of importance.
Ayatollah al-Najafi pointed out that Iraq, in light of its potential and capabilities can become one of the most advanced countries in the world. “This issue needs effort and dedication in order to be successful.”
