RNA - Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani has extended his condolences to Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the passing of his sister.
In his message on Sunday, Rouhani expressed grief over the demise of the Leader’s sister and prayed for "God to bestow forbearance" upon the bereaved family.
Fatemeh Hosseini Khamenei, 89, who had been hospitalized in Tehran a few days ago, passed away on Saturday night.
Zarif’s message of condolence
Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif also on Sunday offered his condolences to the Leader.
In his message, Zarif said he has been deeply saddened by the demise of Ayatollah Khamenei’s sister.
The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei lost his sister Saturday night.
Sayyeda Fatema Husseini Khamenei, 89, had been hospitalized in one of Tehran's hospitals a few days ago.
