RNA – Ayatollah Bushehri described the letter of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, to the “National Conference on the Promotion of Administrative Health and Tackling Corruption” as being very meaningful, stating that it touched upon various dimensions in a precise and concise manner.
In a message read at the conference, Ayatollah Khamenei emphasized the importance of this conference and called the heads of the three branches of the government to “make and execute strong and practical decisions to confront corruption with no consideration.”
Ayatollah Bushehri stated that the most common cause of corruption is due to the lack of strict monitoring and stated that news those who are embezzling large amounts of money and engaged in corruption are “playing with the peoples moral’s.”
He urged the authorities to fight make serious efforts to combat corruption, saying that holding only a few weak people responsible and ignoring the others will not solve the problem of corruption.
The Friday prayer leader of Qom emphasized that with firm resolution, authorities can remove corruption from its roots. “In particular, the legislative and executive authorities should develop, enact and enforce the necessary laws so that all shortcomings and flaws can be removed from the system,” he stated.
In another part of his sermon, Ayatollah Bushehri discussed the grandeur and glory of the Arba’in walk to the Holy Shrine of Imam Husayn in Karbala, saying that despite the threats of the Takfiri ISIL militants, who are the Yazid’s of our time, millions of the lovers of Imam Husayn are making their way from various places throughout the world towards the Holy City of Karbala. “This is a sign of the love of the people for the guardianship of the Ahlul-Bayt and for Imam Husayn,” His Eminence explained.
The renowned scholar stated that seminarians and university students must correctly identify the plots of the enemies, saying that the enemy seeks the separation of the seminaries and the universities from each other and in this era, they are separating religion from knowledge just as their old slogan of separating church from state.
Ayatollah Bushehri also remarked on the CIA’s recently revealed torture program in which terrorism suspects were subjected to torture techniques such as waterboarding. He stated that the media reported and published only a small fraction of America’s shameful record on human rights.
He also stated that we must not be accept the obvious deceptions of the Americans. It has become clear to everyone that their claims to be protecting human rights are nothing but lies. “The Americans with their shameful and black record accuse the Islamic Republic of Iran for violating human rights,” Ayatollah Bushehri emphasized.
