Ayatollah Muhammad Taqi Mesbah Yazdi, the chairman of Imam Khomeini Institute of Education and Research, in an ethics and knowledge session, held in the office of the supreme leader of the revolution in Qom, said that the man needs a social life.
“The scientific arguments also point to man’s need of social life. Every man follows his own benefits, and it is troublesome, if the man enjoys a social life, and if there are some regulations creating the social communications between people, the justice will be established in the society, and the man will then enjoy a good societal life”, he mentioned.
Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi finally added, “In the society run by just regulations, people enjoy equal rights and obligations. People should be treated and motivated for observing the regulations, and if the man observes the rights of others due to internal motivations, it is called a moral value, therefore along with regulations, morality is also required to make the man observe the rights of others.”
