Hujjat al-Isalm Sayyed Hussein Momeni, concerning the obstacles before the acceptance of the prayers, said, “The prayers will be granted if they meet the requirement and provided that there is no obstacles before them. They are required to be uttered, and also the obstacles ought to be considered.”
He said, “Some people say their prayers are not granted, the causes of the failure of their prayers could be many different obstacles such as their neglect of their parents and their being ignorant of saying the prayer.”
Hujjat al-Islam Momeni added, “God grants the prayers provided that you meet the requirements and remove the obstacles. To abstain from committing the sins is easier than repenting. Wrongdoing ruins the reputation of the man, yet obedience to God brings him honour.”
