RNA - Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Ali Yasin, the chairman of the Lebanese Soor (Ṣūr or Tyre) Scholars, presenting this week’s Friday prayer sermons, congratulated the Eid of Resistance to the Lebanese people and stated, “This day ignited the flame of Resistance in the Arab countries and raise the hope for the liberation of Palestine.”
The chairman of the Lebanese Soor Scholars reiterated, “The Resistance is on the path ending in the liberation of the region from the evils of Zionist Regime and it will attain this end soon.”
Moreover, General Joseph Aoun, the commander of the Lebanese army also announced that the army of Lebanon will attempt until the liberation of all the Lebanese lands from the occupying Regime of Israel.”
On the Eid of Resistance, General Joseph Aoun pointed out, “25-May-2000 made the Eid of Resistance, it is a brilliant day in our history.”
It worth mentioning that on 25-May-2000, the occupying forces of Israel were ousted from the south of Lebanon and the grand victory over the Zionist regime was achieved.
The Lebanese Hezbollah is the only Resistance Organisation having managed to conquer Israel two times in six years. Through their resistance, the Israeli forces had to leave the south of Lebanon with no negotiation, an unprecedented act by the Zionists during the history.
