Ayatollah Ka’bi considered International al-Quds Day as the symbol of the production of spiritual authority and revival of Islamic identity and said, “We are moving towards the liberation of al-Quds with more hope and determination than ever before.” RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Abbas Ka’bi, a member of the board directors of the Assembly of Experts of the Leadership, spoke in honour of International al-Quds Day, “al-Quds Day is becoming more and more glorious in the Islamic world and is being more and more visible as a symbol of the spiritual authority of humanity to fight against the Zionist regime and try to liberate Palestine and al-Quds (Jerusalem) among the freedom seekers of the world and all religions and sects.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom added, “The Coronavirus can not be a barrier to the revival of al-Quds Day. This year’s al-Quds Day will be held magnificently in the form of international conferences and discussions, glorious gatherings in ‘white’ areas [where there are no cases of the Coronavirus], the use of the internet and social media, marches with vehicles and the announcement of positions through the public media as in previous years.”
Ayatollah Ka’bi referred to the speech of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] on al-Quds Day and said, “One of the manifestations of the glory of al-Quds Day this year will be the historic and decisive speech of the Supreme Leader.”
The representative of the people of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Experts emphasized on the full readiness of the Islamic Resistance Axis and stated, “The preparedness of the Islamic Resistance Axis and Islamic Resistance groups in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Iraq and Islamic Iran and unity, convergence and collaboration of the Islamic ummah is increasing day by day, and we are getting closer to the aspiration of liberating Palestine and al-Quds and the Zionist regime is weaker than ever."
He stated, “One of the manifestations of al-Quds Day this year is to confront the treacherous Deal of the Century. The Deal of the Century is considered a definite failure with the valuable presence of the ummah and Islamic Resistance and revival of al-Quds Day."
Ayatollah Ka’bi added, “Another manifestation of al-Quds Day this year is to counter the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime. The movement to normalize relations is a great betrayal of the ideals of Palestine and al-Quds. Unfortunately, the effects of normalization are taking place in the form of soft war, art, media, filmmaking, the normalization of economic relations and withdrawal from the Palestinian cause.”
