RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Javad Hoseynikia, a member of the clerical faction in the Islamic Consultative Assembly [the Iranian parliament], emphasized the efforts of all agencies to implement the Statement on the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution, which was issued by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei.
In this regard, the member of the Industries and Mines Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said, “The requirements for the Statement on the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution include being a servant, being pure, doing jihadi work, standing against the arrogant powers, not being afraid of the enemies, standing up for the values of the Islamic Revolution, giving the field to the youth, the participation of the people’s in the affairs of the country in the true sense of the word and the transparency in the performance of officials.”
He referred to the importance of the people’s trust in solving the problems and said, “If we return the people’s trust to them, they will stand up to solve the problem just as they have stood by the Islamic Revolution.”
Hujjat al-Islam Hoseynikia called the coexistence of officials and the people one of the demands of the Statement on the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution and stated, “Being alongside the people must be such that the people don’t feel any distance in this direction, that is, they consider the officials to be of their own kind.”
The representative of the people of Sonqor and Kolayaei (in Kermanshah province) considered the demand as the first demand of the people’s right and stated, “The people should present their demands in the form of meetings that they can have with the officials and representatives and ask them the reason for not implementing the programs.”
Referring to the necessity for solidarity between officials and the people, he said, “Officials can also create capacity for solidarity between the government and the people through transparency and providing information and by being in the hearts of the people.”
Hujjat al-Islam Hoseynikia pointed to the role of the Islamic Consultative Assembly in fulfilling the Islamic Consultative Assembly, saying, “The Islamic Consultative Assembly can play a role in creating infrastructure and eliminating legal loopholes. One of the issues that was accomplished in the tenth parliament was that, according to the demand of the Supreme Leader, retirees should step down from their responsibilities to give the field to the youth.”
