The deputy chairman of the Lebanese Hezbollah’s Executive Council commended the position of Iran and its supreme leader against the pressures and sanctions of the US. RNA - Sheikh Ali Damoush, the deputy chairman of the Lebanese Hezbollah’s Executive Council said that Iran gave a firm response to the US through the frustration of the US financial pressures.
Sheikh Damoush, presenting this week’s Friday prayer sermons in Bir al-Abd in the south of Beirut, said that the region is confronting a considerable tension due to the misdeeds of the US, and they are aimed at pressing Iran towards the negotiation and acceptance of the US terms.
He continued, “Yet the response of Iran was firm, and Sayyed Ali Khamenei, the supreme leader of Iran has mentioned that “neither war nor negotiation will be done”, and it created a big problem before Trump.”
The deputy chairman of Hezbollah’s executive council maintained, “Americans expected Iran will soon come to their terms, yet Iran adopted a strong position and it disappointed the US.”
