RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Libbaya Mosque in the town of Libbaya in Lebanon’s Western Beqaa district, Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Khatib, the vice-president of the Shi’ah Islamic Supreme Council of Lebanon, warned of the enemies’ movements aimed at creating instability and crises in the country.
The Lebanese Shi’ah scholar said, “While we strongly condemn the violations of public and private property, the evocation of religious and sectarian rhetoric and ethnic aggression, we stand strongly with the Lebanese army and security forces in their national missions to preserve stability and provide security and we consider any attack on the army as aggression against all Lebanese people who are required to rally around their army and abide by its directives and procedures. We note its sacrifices and efforts to ensure the security of the homeland and its people.”
Hujjat al-Islam al-Khatib continued, “All believers must be committed to the important command of enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil and they must not give in to oppression.”
His Eminence added, “The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has proved its effectiveness and positive impact against the oppressors and enemies for all, especially when it expelled the Zionist enemies from the country.”
It is noteworthy that the United States is trying to reduce the popularity and position of Hezbollah among the Lebanese people by repeatedly intervening in Lebanon and organizing regular riots in that country.
Recently, Germany, in unison with the United States, blacklisted Hezbollah, which was met with a wave of protests by the Lebanese people.
