Ayatollah Ramazani, the Secretary-General of the Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly, has issued a message on the occasion of Ramadan 1441 AH. RNA – Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, the Secretary-General of the Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly, issued a message on the occasion of Ramadan 1441 AH.
The message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِي أُنزِلَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَبَيِّنَاتٍ مِّنَ الْهُدَىٰ وَالْفُرْقَانِ ۚ فَمَن شَهِدَ مِنكُمُ الشَّهْرَ فَلْيَصُمْهُ
“The month of Ramadan is one in which the Quran was sent down as guidance to mankind, with manifest proofs of guidance and the Criterion.” (2:185)
To the honourable members of the general assembly, associates and all those who are related to the Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly worldwide.
as-Salamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,
It is my honour to offer the best congratulations to you on the occasion of the most blessed and the most virtuous month of Ramadan.
Ramadan al-Mubarak is the spring of the Quran, the month of mercy and remission, the month of the divine feast and the spring for the worshippers.
I hope all of us would be able to appreciate the spirituality and blessed days and nights of this month, and use them to the best of our ability and take a step towards God’s pleasure, as Imam Ali said about appreciating the opportunity,
الْفُرْصَةُ تَمُرُّ مَرَّ السَّحَابِ فَانْتَهِزُوا فُرَصَ الْخَيْر
(Opportunity passes away like the cloud. Therefore, make use of good opportunities)
(Nahj al-Balaghah, Wisdom 20)
For the sake of the precious man of this month, Imam Ali, the martyr of justice, I also humbly ask God to remove the hardships of the Islamic ummah. Especially those of the oppressed people of Yemen, Muslims in Kashmir and India, the oppressed Shi’ahs of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and displaced Palestinians and all deprived people in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria and so on.
Relief of the patients, the consolation of those who lost their loved ones, victory over the evil and complicated Coronavirus, are other wishes which we ask God to meet them in this holy month.
In this great month, by God’s grace, we hope that all Islamic countries would be secure, in peace, prosperous, and we would witness the strengthening of the bonds of unity and friendship among all nations and the expansion of world peace and lasting security and removing oppression and discrimination in the world.
سُبْحَانَ رَبّك رَبِّ الْعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ؛ وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِين؛ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِين
Glory to thy Lord, the Lord of Honour and Power! (He is free) from what they ascribe (to Him)! And Peace on the messengers! And Praise to God, the Lord and Cherisher of the Worlds.
