Ayatollah Hakim, stressing the preservation of peace, peaceful coexistence, development of the relationship and mutual respect, stated, “Any act provoking different Iraqi parties should be avoided.”

He called for the priority of national interests over other issues and stated that the scholars and heads of different ethnic groups should do their best to keep the country clear of seditions.
