RNA – In his speech delivered on the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam al-Mahdi, Ayatollah Isa Qasim, the leader of Bahrain’s oppressed Shi’ah majority, referred to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) epidemic and emphasized, “If the moral crises in the world continues, the Coronavirus will further disgrace the world and expose its ugliness.”
His Eminence said, “The moral crises of the world means the crises of the heads of state and big and small countries, leaders, rulers, ministers, kings and presidents and the loss of religion, humanity and conscience.”
Ayatollah Qasim said that the confiscation and theft of masks from other countries is one of the moral characteristics of this sick world in such a situation and said, “This means stealing masks from refugeless poor people who are threatened by illness and death.”
He said, “Sanctions and the intensification of the economic blockade of the countries that have been invaded by the enemies are examples of this ugliness and moral savagery and many world leaders and great leaders are suffering from it.”
