Ayatollah Khamenei offered his condolences on the passing of Ayatollah Ebrahim Amini. RNA – The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, offered his condolences on the passing of member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Ebrahim Amini.
In a message issued on Saturday, April 25, Ayatollah Khamenei paid tribute to the deceased as a devout cleric who dedicated his life to promotion of Islamic teachings.
The Supreme Leader also lauded Ayatollah Amini for his political and social activities and serving in various posts in the Islamic Republic.
The member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts died at the age of 95 in the city of Qom on Friday.
He was also a former vice chairman of the assembly, a high-ranking body of experts which elects and oversees the activities of the leader of the Islamic Revolution.
