An Iraqi religious scholar maintained that Ghadir day frustrates the US destructive plots for provoking tribal divisions. According to the correspondent of Rasa News Agency in the holy city of Najaf, Ayatollah Sayyed Yasin Mousavi, an Iraqi scholar, stated, “Ghadir Eid should be appreciated through stronger allegiance to Imam Ali (AS).”
Ayatollah Sayyed Yasin Mousavi continued, “Eid Ghadir foils the US destructive plots for provoking tribal divisions.”
He further mentioned, “Since 16 years ago, the religious sources of emulation have cooperated with officials, they have made some decisions helpful to this country and foiling many evil ploys.”
