The chairman of Ayatollah Najafi’s office, pointing to the enormous potentials of Haj, called the promotion of Ahl al-Bayt’s thought as the responsibility of the missionaries. According to the correspondent of Rasa News Agency in the holy city of Najaf, Hujjat al-Islam Sheikh Ali Najafi, the representative of Ayatollah Najafi, a source of emulation based in Iraq, said that missionaries are supposed to guide people on the performance of right worshipping deeds and institutionalise the religious culture in the society.”
Hujjat al-Islam Najafi, visiting the missionaries appointed by Ayatollah Najafi to accompany the pilgrims of the land of the Heavenly revelation, pointed out, “Missionaries are sent to this holy land in order to let pilgrims know the significance of the worshipping and belief principles of Haj, strategies of enjoying haj by the Islamic Ummah and steering clear of differences.”
Describing Haj as a valuable opportunity for Muslim missionaries fo Najaf Seminary, he explained, “Haj, a large religious congregation for worshipping, is an opportunity for the proximity of the believers to different sects. This gathering is a good chance for introducing the true and original Islam and thoughts of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) to all believers.”
