The custodian of Tehran’s Imam Khomeyni Seminary said that the essence of the holy month of Ramadan is to find the truth of guardianship and said, “On Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Power), all of the angels descend on the heart of guardianship.” RNA – Speaking on a live television program about Du’a al-Nudbah (al-Nudbah Supplication) which was broadcast from the Holy Shrine of Hadhrat Abdul-Adhim al-Hasani in Rey, Ayatollah Kazem Seddiqi, the custodian of Tehran’s Imam Khomeyni Seminary, said, “Ramadan is a month of self-improvement, prayer and the feast of the divine saints.”
The temporary Friday prayer leader of Tehran added, “The virtues of the holy month of Ramadan compared to other days is so great that man isn’t able to understand it. According to the explicit narrations, the difference between the holy month of Ramadan and other days is the same as the difference between Ahl al-Bayt and the people.”
He further stated, “The flood of wisdom, knowledge and wonders flowed from Imam Ali and there was no knowledge and wisdom that reached the height of the peak of knowledge of Imam Ali and the saints of God in the world. No one can compare the past and the future with the family of Muhammad.”
Ayatollah Seddiqi continued, “Therefore, just as the inner majesty of Imam Ali is a manifestation, a sign of God and a manifestation of all the attributes of the beauty and glory of God, the holy month of Ramadan is also a manifestation of God Almighty, a piece of heaven on earth and a vessel of the revelation of the Holy Quran.”
His Eminence stated that on Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Power), all of the angels descend on the heart of wilayah (guardianship) and said, “Ramadan is the time of the revolution of souls and the evolution of souls. Man must make the most of these blessings, graces and mercies of the holy month of Ramadan.”
Ayatollah Seddiqi said that the reason for the delay in the reappearance of Imam al-Mahdi is considered to be the lack of love, affection and affection for Imam al-Mahdi and said, “Man must dedicate his whole existence to Imam al-Mahdi and the true essence of the holy month of Ramadan is to find the truth of guardianship.”
