An Iraqi scholar stressed the recourse to the practical behavior of Ahl al-Bay (AS) and steering clear of all differences. According to the correspondent of Rasa News Agency in Najaf Ashraf, a group of preachers and clerics of the Iraqi Babylon province met and talked to Ayatollah Sheikh Muhammad Yaqubi, an Iraqi scholar.
During the visit, Ayatollah Yaqubi, stressing the conclusion of brotherhood contract among believers on the day of Ghadir, said, “On Eid Ghadir, kindness, affection and solidarity were created among Muslims, as Imam Ali (AS) was introduced as the successor of the Prophet (S). Following the conclusion of the brotherhood contract among Muslim, there will remain no differences among Muslims and the society will develop.”
The Iraqi scholar explained, “Following the migration of the Prophet (S) from Mecca to Medina, a brotherhood contract was concluded among migrators and companions by the prophet (S) as it was the required condition of the development and growth.”
Finally, he maintained, “Unfortunatelly, the society is living far from the practical behaviour of Ahl al-Bayt (AS). The preacher of Muharram month are supposed to properly gudie and illuminate people and warn people against those differences preventing people from remembering God, the Sublime."
