Representative of Khuzestan in the Assembly of Experts:
Ayatollah Heydari said that those who are not present in the elections provide the grounds for the insecurity of the country and added, “The country’s progress depends on a strong Islamic Consultative Assembly.”

RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Mohsen Heydari, the representative of the people of Khuzestan province in the Assembly of Experts, pointed out the importance of the passionate presence of the people in the February 21st election in Iran and said, “The nature of the Islamic Republic’s system is democracy and we must know that the consistency of the system is the presence of the community of people and without the presence of the people, the system won’t be consolidated.”

The Friday prayer of Ahvaz said that the presence of the people on the scene undermined many of the enemies’ plots, saying, “The enemies are disappointed by the impassioned presence of the people on the scene of the election.”

Noting that the presence of people at the ballot box guarantees the security of the country, Ayatollah Heydari said, “The more that the people are present in the election, the greater the security of the country will be, but if it is reduced and as the percentage of participants drops, the country’s security will surely face serious dangers.”

The temporary Friday prayer leader of Ahvaz insisted that those who don’t participate in the election provide for the insecurity of the country and added, “The country’s progress depends on a strong Islamic Consultative Assembly and it must be known that a strong Islamic Consultative Assembly without a large crowd of people at the ballot box won’t be established.”

Ayatollah Heydari insisted that the people can have a broad presence on the electoral scene by maintaining unity, determining their own destiny and not allowing others to decide the future of their country and added, “Participation in the elections is both a ‘right’ and a ‘duty’ because it is obligatory to support the system from the perspective of shari’ah. The Islamic Consultative Assembly is also a symbol of the legislature and if it is disturbed, the system will be disrupted and the disruption of the system is also forbidden.”
