The United States has betrayed us repeatedly in negotiations. Isn’t this bitter experience of forty years sufficient for some of the Westoxified individuals to abandon these criminal and treacherous enemies and give their hearts to their people and take the guidance of the Supreme Leader into consideration?”
The representative of the Supreme Leader in Qom emphasized, “Are there still people who are devoted to the enemies, who have recently shattered the brave general Haj Qasem Soleymani and his companions into tiny pieces with a missile, and are sending the message of negotiations to these indecent people? Why do some people humiliate themselves and trample on the blood of the martyrs and Martyr Soleymani and ignore the warnings of the Supreme Leader?”
He pointed to the upcoming 22 Bahman (on 11 February) march and said, “22 Bahman coincides with the Days of Fatimah and the fortieth day after the martyrdom of Haj Qasem Soleymani and the people must be present on the scene with hatred for the killers of this warrior of Islam. We must be grateful for the IRGC for such forces who were trained to protect Islam and the Islamic Revolution.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi noted, “This year the slogan of ‘Death to America’ is more vibrant than ever. Another feature of the Ten-Day Dawn this year, especially 22 Bahman, is that we are on the verge of a fateful election for the country to have clean, compassionate and revolutionary members of parliament.”
