Ayatollah Shobeiri Zanjani, stressing the right employment of the pious judges said, “Impiousness damages the trust of the people, and it will put the revolution in danger.” RNA - Ayatollah Shubeiri Zanjani, visited by Ayatollah Raeisi, stressed, “immorality and impiousness will damage the trust of the people and it can put the revolution in danger”.
He added, “In the selection and appointment of the judges, in case of need, the condition of Ijtihad can be neglected, and the conditions of knowledge and being scholar can be sufficient, however the issue of morality and piety should never be ignored. Therefore you had better consider this issue attentively”.
Saying that the highest degree of significance lies in judges, grand Ayatollah Shubeiri Zanjani stated, “the Justice should be administered by the ones who apply for this job in order to fulfil their responsibility and not for worldly affairs”.
He added, “The ones who sits in the chair of judgement should treat people properly. There are grievances about the treatment of some judges. If it is not dealt with properly, it will damage the trust of the people and the blood of the martyrs will be desecrated”.
