An Indian scholar considered Ayatollah Arafi’s letter to Indian scholars and clerics as a ‎solution to the problems of the Indian society and said, “With this letter, you have ‎benefited the Indian clerical community.”‎

RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Muhammad Shabib Husayni, the editor-in-chief of the ‎academic-research quarterly journal “Safinah al-Najah,” issued a letter calling on Indian ‎Shi’ah scholars to give their full support to the letter from Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the ‎head of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran.‎

The message is as follows:‎

Distinguished Head of the Seminaries of Iran and Former Head of al-Mustafa ‎International University, Ayatollah‏ ‏Arafi,‎

as-Salamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,‎

I congratulate you, Your Excellency, on the occasion of the blessed days of Ramadhan ‎al-Mubarak and I wish for the acceptance of your deeds. I am familiar with your ‎compassionate spirit from the past. I have had the honour of being at Your Excellency’s ‎service numerous times at Imam Khomeyni Specialized University and I have also been ‎in your close presence in Meybod and was subject to your love. ‎

Recently, during your visit to India, I benefited from Your Excellency’s precious visits, ‎advice and blessings. In every meeting and everywhere, I felt that you have a great ‎deal of sympathy and sensitivity towards the non-Iranian seminarians and clerics, ‎especially the Indian seminarians and clerics, who have a special place in your eyes. ‎This is my opinion, belief and example. ‎

By seeing your recent message to the scholars of India, I became stronger and firmer. ‎Thank you for sending a message of wise counsel to the Indian clergy and I pray to ‎God Almighty for your health and longevity.‎

With peace,‎
In need of your prayers,‎
