Ayatollah Arafi said that the Deal of the Century is the slaughter of the Palestinians in front of the eyes of the Islamic ummah. RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi said that the Iranian people is the flag of the revival of Islam and Islamic values in the present era and said, “The larger test of the zealous youth and generations of the Islamic Revolution wasn’t enough for 15 Khordad [the June 5 and 6, 1963 uprising] and the events of February 1979 and for forty years, they have followed this long and arduous journey.”
The head of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran emphasized that the enemies have acknowledged that Iran enjoys deterrent power, a powerful system and an interpeopleal sphere of influence and said, “These have been achieved thanks to the presence and persistence of the people in various fields but we are not saying that our officials didn’t make mistakes and we have suffered failure but the amount of gains against our shortcomings is huge.”
He referred to the widespread presence of the Iranian people at the funeral of Martyr Qasem Soleymani and noted, “The presence of millions of people in Iran and throughout the region was the latest leaf of honour of their presence on the scene.”
Ayatollah Arafi pointed to the presence of the people in the elections and added, “In the elections, power has been hand in hand and the people and the people have been present in the elections with complete freedom and this is one of the secrets of survival.”
The jurisprudent member of the Guardian Council said that we are facing two tests – the 41st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution on February 11th and February 21 and said, “The presence of even one person further enhances security and frustrates the enemies and as the Supreme Leader said, ‘all of the people must come to the scene for Iran, Islam and the Islamic Revolution and no excuse is accepted.’”
Emphasizing that every vote frustrates the enemies, he added, “Today the shedders of blood seek to defeat the people and the presence of the people and their votes will destroy the enemies.”
Referring to US President Donald Trump’s Deal of the Century, Ayatollah Arafi said, “The Deal of the Century is the slaughter of the Palestinians in front of the eyes of the Islamic ummah. The terrorist Trump and the Zionist terrorists know that the Deal of the Century, thanks be to God and the support of the Islamic Revolution and Iran, was in vain and it will be capital for stronger struggles and the defeat of the Zionists and Americans.”
His Eminence addressed the enemies, saying, “The Islamic Resistance Axis and heroic Iran branded the hearts of you oppressors with humiliating negotiations and dialogue and your destiny, in opposition to some ideas based on negotiating with the terrorists of the world, will be severe revenge and the waving of flags containing the slogan ‘Ya Latharat al-Husayn [Rise to avenge Husayn’s blood].’”
Ayatollah Arafi concluded by saying, “The people will roar on February 11th and this presence is the grounds for severe revenge. The end of severe revenge will be with the Americans leaving the region.”
