According to Rasa News Agency’s correspondent in Najaf, Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Najafi, the son and head of the office of the Grand Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi, visited a group of Shi’ah pilgrims in Iraq’s central Babil governorate and said, “Attending commemorations aimed at reviving the Husayni rituals is obligatory upon all of the believers. This is because it revives the religious rituals, proves the rights and strengthens the Islamic ummah to counter any harm to authentic Muhammadan Islam.”
He also visited the Husayni mawkibs located in the city of al-Hillah and made recommendations in regard to the customs and manners of reviving the Husayni rituals.
In conclusion, Hujjat al-Islam Ali al-Najafi conveyed the greetings and supplications of Ayatollah Bashir al-Najafi to the believers and emphasized the importance of reviving the rituals of Imam al-Husayn.
