Hujjat al-Islam Haqqiqi stated that the Coronavirus has revealed the vicious façade of the Western world, “The outbreak of the Coronavirus in Europe has prompted European governments to show off their brutality by stealing masks from each other.”
Noting that the country’s officials must not be deceived by the Westerners’ iron-clad appearance, His Eminence said, “The West’s helplessness in dealing with the Coronavirus has shown the importance of not trusting in European countries.”
He compared the way people and officials are exposed to the Coronavirus in Iran and Western countries, saying, “Those who talk about the United States today must compare the situation of Islamic Iran with the United States and Western countries.”
Hujjat al-Islam Haqqiqi emphasized the importance of turning the threat of Coronavirus’s into an opportunity, “These difficult conditions will be a turning point for the Iranian people to show their standards to the world.”
He considered believing in the internal forces as one of the opportunities created by the Coronavirus and added, “If the capacity of the youth is relied on in all fields, all economic, cultural and social problems can be solved.”
