RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad-Ali Mousavi-Jazayeri, the representative of the people of Khuzestan province in the Assembly of Experts, stated, “Through divine favour and blessings, people from different areas and cities, the sources of emulation and the Islamic Seminary of Qom have answered our call to help the flood victims and our tongues is unable to name and give thanks. In this regard, we offer our infinite appreciation for them and pray for them.”
The head of the Islamic Seminary of Khuzestan stated that one of the most painful issues for us is the hot weather and said, “It’s now April and the weather is a bit tolerable but if the flood problems last up to one or two months and the air temperature reaches 50 degrees or more, given that many of the flood victims live in tents, and it’s not possible to install air conditioning units in the tents nor are such tents available, so what should we do next?”
Ayatollah Mousavi-Jazayeri stated that the building of houses for the flood victims may last for more than one or two years and added, “In this regard, what is the task of the flood victims in that extreme heat with the lack of air conditioning units? Should the flood victims who survived the flood die in the heat?”
His Eminence said that the country’s managers and planners must think about measures to resolve these issues. At the same time, we are asking all the countrymen and statesmen for assistance.
He added, “Within two months, the heat of Khuzestan won’t be tolerable but rather it will be fatal and it will be even more deadly for the children, the weak, the elderly.”
In conclusion, Ayatollah Mousavi-Jazayeri expressed his hope to see answers and immediate solutions to these problems.
