RNA – Speaking at a seasonal meeting of provincial managers of the Women’s Islamic Seminaries held at the Centre for the Management of the Women’s Islamic Seminaries, Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad Ebadizadeh said, “The use of think tanks is being pursued vigorously in the country today and, in my opinion, the establishment of a think tank for the Women’s Islamic Seminaries is something useful.”
The director of the Women’s Islamic Seminaries of Hormozgan province emphasized his follow-up and pursuit of the issue of the downfall of the Women’s Islamic Seminaries and said, “In my opinion, according to the statement of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei], it’s better to set up a transformation committee in order to take appropriate action in relation to actualizing this statement.”
Mortaza Bargestan described the activities of the General Department of Graduates and stated,
“We didn’t have a comprehensive database of graduates and so we launched the graduate system, and so far about 17,000 graduates are in the system.”
The director of the General Department of Graduates of the Women’s Islamic Seminaries and added, “We have developed memorandums of understanding and good relations with other institutions so that we can benefit more from the capacities of the Women’s Islamic Seminaries in different fields. For this reason, we had memorandums of understanding with the Ministry of Education in order to hold educational courses by using the women seminarians to teach in the schools.”
He added, “We had a good relationship with the Welfare Organization, the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the Imam Khomeyni Relief Foundation to prepare the means for cultural activities of women seminarians and we tried to create a good atmosphere for the activities of graduate students of the Women’s Islamic Seminaries in these institutions.”
