RNA – Speaking during his class held at Qom’s Grand Mosque, Grand Ayatollah Hoseyn Nouri-Hamadani considered the philosophy of divine ordinances to be the provision of the interests of the individual and society and said, “All the actions of God Almighty are based on wisdom and interest and all divine rules are based on this.”
The revered source of emulation considered usury as an obvious example of injustice and added, “Seeking justice and anti-oppression are an essential and inviolable part of Islam and establishing justice is the most important goal of Islam and the mission of the prophets but because of usury is in contradiction to this clear principle, it’s forbidden. Usury means the exploitation of man and the violation of his rights.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said that Islam applies originality but usury places money as its basis and said, “Some people want to legitimize their own usury through dirty tricks, which is problematic according to the shari’ah.”
In another part of his speech, His Eminence said that the love of wealth and property are the cause of corruption in the world today and added, “The people of Pakistan are pure and Muslim but Saudi Arabia has managed to draw some of these people toward them and 10,000 Pakistanis serve in the Saudis’ palaces.”
Ayatollah Nouri-Hamadani said, “Muhammad ibn Salman [the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia] doesn’t want to lose Pakistan but rather he wants to expand Wahhabism in the world and wants to travel to Malaysia, Indonesia and India but as people become aware they have engaged in many protests but ibn Salman has given $20 billion to Pakistan to buy influence in the country and the people as given up and Pakistan has stopped the protests of the people.”
