RNA - Chairman of the International Union of Resistance Scholars in Lebanon, met with the Secretary-General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

Sheikh Maher Hammoud, Chairman of the International Union of Resistance Scholars in Lebanon, met with Ayatollah Sheikh Mohsen Araky, Secretary-General of the General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, on the sidelines of the 14th Islamic World Ulema Conference in Damascus, Syria.

In this meeting, the two figures discussed the latest situation in the Muslim world and the region.

Also in a meeting with Mohammad Jalal Firouznia, Iranian ambassador to Lebanon, Sheikh Saeed Al-Nomani and a delegation from Iranian cultural authorities, Sheikh Maher Hammoud emphasized on the necessity of the expanding the idea of convergence between religions.

Chairman of the World League of Scholars of Lebanon's Resistance, also met Sheikh Abdul Majid Abbas Imam of Al-Zahra Mosque in Homs City, Syria, Sheikh Yusuf Abbas activist of Palestine Liberation, Sheikh Muhammad Adib Yaserji of the Syrian Aleppo scholars and discussed the latest situation in Syria and the defeat of the Takfiri-Wahhabi terrorists in Syria.
