Ayatollah Gharavi emphasized, “During the several decades which he spent in Qom, ‎Ayatollah Hashemi-Shahroudi educated many students. He was truly the hope of the system ‎and the Islamic Seminary. His death is an injury that cannot easily be compensated for and ‎we hope that God will compensate this loss.”‎
