On the eve of the solemn month of Muharram, one of the Najaf-based sources of emulation met with a group of youths and called on them to adhere to the principles of the message of Imam al-Husayn. RNA – A group of young students from Iraq’s Dhi Qar governorate who participated in the cultural courses of the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali in the holy city of Najaf met with Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad-Sa’id al-Hakim, one of the senior sources of emulation based in Najaf.
In this meeting, Ayatollah al-Hakim advised the youth to take advantage of the opportunity of the month of Muharram and to always remember the Master of the Martyrs [Imam al-Husayn], the Ahl al-Bayt and their companions in order that the Shi’ahs adhere to their fundamental principles.
He added, “Commitment to the obligation of prayer, Godweariness, sincerity and obtaining the satisfaction of God Almighty is the secret of salvation in the world and in the hereafter.”
