On the eve of Journalists Day, the director and number of managers and secretaries of Rasa News Agency met with Ayatollah Arafi, the director of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran and a jurisprudent member of the Guardian Council. RNA – Hujjat al-Islam Mohammad-Mahdi Mohaqeqqi, the manager of Rasa News Agency, along with a number of managers and secretaries of this seminary media organization, met with Ayatollah Alireza Arafi, the director of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran and a jurisprudent member of the Guardian Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, Hujjat al-Islam Mohaqeqqi, congratulated Ayatollah Arafi on his appointment as jurisprudent member of the Guardian Council and praised his efforts to strengthen the revolutionary Islamic Seminaries and society to fulfill the demands of the Supreme Leader and sources of emulation.
Hujjat al-Islam Mohaqeqqi said that acting in regard to the grand plans for the realization of the revolutionary Islamic Seminaries, strengthening ties with seminarians and teachers, increasing ties with the elite of the Islamic Seminaries and universities, strengthening clerical social services, giving attention to research centres and research by seminarians and attention to contemporary jurisprudence and governmental jurisprudence are among the prominent highlights of Ayatollah Arafi’s management.
In another part of the meeting, the manager of Rasa News Agency presented a report on the activities, actions and innovations of this news agency.
Ayatollah Arafi offered his congratulations on Journalists Day (celebrated on August 8th in Iran) and also offered his appreciation for the activities of Rasa News Agency, describing the responsibility of religious, seminary and revolutionary media in the era of Islamic Revolution as very heavy and important.
The director of the seminaries also emphasized that the media organizations of the country and the Islamic Resistance Front should take a deeper, more global and wiser look at the issues and with the formation of a global network, the thought of the Islamic Resistance Front and the logic of the Islamic Revolution would be reflected in the world.
In another part of the meeting, Ayatollah Arafi described the strategic and considerable programs of the Islamic Seminaries, comprehensive educational and research systems, academic disciplines and other programs on the agenda of the Islamic Seminaries.
