RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Ayatollah Seyyed Abdolhadi Hoseyni-Shahroudi, the representative of the people of Golestan province in the Assembly of Experts, referred to the powerful positions of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khamenei, against the excesses and greed of the United States and said, “The powerful conduct of the Supreme Leader during his meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister [Shinzō Abe] brought pride to the people of Iran to have such a powerful leader.”
During his June 13th meeting with Prime Minister Abe, who said he conveyed a message from Trump, Ayatollah Khamenei categorically rejected negotiations with the United States.
He explained that powerful and resistant diplomacy has always been effective against the enemies and added, “After witnessing the power and dignity of the Supreme Leader in his meeting with the Japanese Prime Minister, the Iranian people felt a sense of dignity and pride.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Shahroudi said that the powerful positions of the Supreme Leader have transformed Iran into a dignified nation and noted, “Even those who had a different perspective from that of the Supreme Leader became very happy after observing his powerful behaviour and felt a sense of identity and personality from him.”
His Eminence stated that today, the enemies are angry with the powerful positions of the Supreme Leader and emphasized, “The enemies have imposed sanctions on the Supreme Leader due to their own weakness and inability.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Shahroudi stressed that today every Iranian, but rather every Muslim, is proud of having a powerful and able leader, and they feel a sense of personality from him and delight in observing his revolutionary and powerful positions.”
One June 24th, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced new sanctions against Iran targeting Ayatollah Khamenei and top commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC).
These sanctions will reportedly deny the Supreme Leader’s office and other Iranian officials access to financial instruments.
