RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers at Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Sayyed Mohammad Sa’idi offered his condolences on the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq and stressed upon the necessity of commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of the chief of Shi’ah Islam in the Islamic homeland and added, “This day is also the anniversary of the attack by the forces of the Pahlavi regime on the mourning assemblies of the clerics at Feyziyeh Seminary. Through such action, the Shah’s forces proved that they’re on the same line as the Umayyads and the Abbasids and God Almighty indicated the destiny of the Umayyads and Abbasids for the traitorous Pahlavi regime.”
Referring to the anniversary of the failed assassination attempt on the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] in June 27, 1981, the custodian of the Holy Shrine of Lady Fatimah al-Ma’sumah continued, “God Almighty protected the Supreme Leader in promoting Islam and protecting the Islamic Revolution and the supplications of the people and the Leader of the Ummah from this dangerous incident. According to the interpretation of Imam Khomeyni, this was a foolish and blind-hearted attempt to murder those whose invitation to righteousness and sincerity resonates in the ears of the people of the Islamic world.”
He referred to the recent rants and calls for war against Iran by American officials and said, “The recent drivel by the terrorist and foolish president of the United States [Donald Trump] and the imposition of sanctions on the Supreme Leader is an example of the foolishness and evilness of the American government.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi addressed the president of the terrorist regime of the United States, saying, “Mr. Trump, despite of the fact that the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khamenei, is the spiritual leader of millions of people around the world, through your foolish and stupid action, you have proved that you are the reason for the chants of ‘Death to America’ and ‘Down with Trump.’”
Referring to the day of the massacre of 290 Iranian civilians on Iran Air Flight 655 by the criminal
American Navy on July 3, 1988, the representative of the Supreme Leader in Qom stated, “This day has been called ‘Exposure of American Human Rights Day,’ but today the Islamic Republic of Iran has gained so much power that it has shot down a $220 million drone with the Khordad-3 missile system and at the same time could have destroyed the P-8 spy plane along with its occupants but didn’t. With this action, Islamic Iran demonstrated itself as a manifestation of Islamic human rights near the anniversary of this dark crime by the United States in such a manner that even Trump was humiliated.”
He noted the implications of the downing of the American spy drone and said, “This defensive measure is a demonstration of the determination, will, courage and the will of the Islamic Republic and demonstrates the victory of the Supreme Leader’s will over satanic evil will of the criminal United States.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi said, “The downing of this drone signifies the authority of the armed forces and the preparedness of the Aerospace Force of the IRGC to protect the safety of the sky of Islamic Iran. We, the attendees of the Friday prayers, thank the commanders of the IRGC, the commanders of the Aerospace Force and the commanders of the Khordad-3 missile system that carried out this great action.”
His Eminence added, “Today, the deterrent power of the Islamic Republic has disrupted the equations and calculations of the enemies. Today, the equation is neither negotiation nor war with practical and operational authority. The downing of this drone by Iran demonstrated that the pressures, threats and sanctions imposed by the United States against the Islamic Republic of Iran have failed and the result has been reversed.”
Ayatollah Sa’idi added, “The nation of Iran will continue on its dignified path based on the logic of the resistance of the guiding principles of the dear revolutionary leader. Due to divine grace, we will overcome the American sanctions with dignity and authority and ‘America cannot do a damned thing.’”
