RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in the Pakistani city of Lahore, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyed Jawad Naqvi stressed that Iran has disgraced the United States by shooting down its drone over the Persian Gulf and said, “Many incidents have taken place in the Persian Gulf and on June 20th, an important incident took place in this region wherein Iran shot down an American spy drone. This was a drone of the latest technology which they used for spying in many places to obtain images and observe the military movements of other countries. They flew this drone from a base in the United Arab Emirates and entered Iranian territorial waters.”
The principal of Jami’at Urwat al-Wuthqa Islamic Seminary in Lahore added, “This wasn’t the first time that this has happened – In December 2011 also Iran was able to down an American drone by using electronic systems to take control of it. They reverse engineered it and started to manufacture drones themselves. The Obama administration asked Iran to return the captured drone but Iran refused to return it. This drone contained advanced technology and its downing was a big shock for the world. In such a situation where the United States came with its marine fleets, forces and technology and has besieged Iran along with its Arab alliance and talks about war every day, Iran has shown the courage to down its drone. The reaction which Trump has shown was only a small statement that Iran has made a big mistake and he wasn’t expecting Iran to do this.”
Hujjat al-Islam Naqvi also referred to the visit by Shinzō Abe, the Prime Minister of Japan, and said, “Abe came to Iran as a representative of Trump and met the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution and received a historic response from him. This was a historic moment for every Muslim in the world. Every community must witness that despite of being besieged and suffering from high inflation and many threats and having the entire world against them but for the sake of their dignity, they aren’t surrendering to anyone. They have said ‘if the United States makes a mistake we will punish them.’ The drone didn’t even enter into Iran’s airspace and was shot down while it was above Iranian territorial waters.”
His Eminence said, “The Iranian leadership has announced that if this war takes place then the United States won’t be in any position to fight any more wars in future. On the other hand, Arab nations and Israel are putting all efforts on the table for this war to take place. Muhammad ibn Salman [the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia] and Israel have formally asked the United States to attack Iran. The attack that took place on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman has been declared as dubious by the United Nations and looks like it was a ‘false flag’ operation carried out by Israel or Persian Gulf Arab monarchies in order to blame Iran and with this excuse, the United States will attack but still the United States didn’t have courage and sent a spy drone and tasted the consequences.”
He stressed that when you encounter a dignified community, you can see what the outcome will be. I wish other Muslim nations and rulers should also learn this lesson of dignity and said, “How many drones did they send to Pakistan which did so much damage and went away. I remember some retired army officers who issued statements now who desired that Pakistan could down one American drone. Those drones come down to Pakistan and killed innocent people. The Pentagon has confessed that they have killed thousands of people through drone attacks. They said this must be done to act against terrorism. If the entire Islamic world can learn this lesson of dignity then they can achieve the path of dignity.”
Hujjat al-Islam Naqvi said that alongside this chaos in the Persian Gulf, a rocket hit an Iraqi compound housing several international oil companies, including the American multinational ExxonMobil, in Basrah. The United States has started to pull their forces and diplomats out of Iraq. This was also a message that if the United States does any attack in the Persian Gulf, the entire Middle East will become a war ground. Syria, Iraq, Palestine, Israel and the Arab countries in the Gulf will all turn into battlefields and this would be the most dangerous battlefield in the world.
