Rasa – Ayatollah Arafi said that the enemies want to defeat the Islamic Revolution and send Islam to the grave and emphasized that the Iranian people of Iran are the children of Ramadhan and Muharram and will defeat the enemies. RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers at Qom’s Qods Prayer Hall, Ayatollah Alireza Arafi referred to the unparalleled opportunity of the holy month of Ramadhan for the spiritual progress of the people and said, “During the holy month of Ramadhan, even the breathing and the sleep of a fasting person are considered as glorification.”
Referring to the economic pressures on the people, the head of the Islamic Seminaries of Iran said, “Ramadhan must illuminate so much at home and in society so that we witness a reduction in social damages and crimes. During the month of Ramadhan, judicial cases are reduced and social damages are reduced which must continue throughout the year. It’s expected that the holy month of Ramadhan in Qom will be more magnificent and solve the problems. Everyone must observe the sanctities of Ramadhan and realize the message of Ramadhan in their lives.”
Referring to the state of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and added, “The people stand against the enemies’ nonsense and we support all of those who are ready and have taken action against the enemies. The post-JPCOA era is a bitter story for humanity.”
Ayatollah Arafi said that the post-JCPOA era demonstrates how much patience and tolerance the people and Supreme Leader have and how strongly they adhere to contracts and standards and said, “The whole world saw how patient and noble Iran was. The post-JCPOA era demonstrated that the most deceitful government in the world is the wretched government of the United States.”
The member of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom continued, “There are hundreds of betrayals, crimes and acts of treachery in the black case of the United States. On the other hand, the Europeans who are the signers of the JCPOA didn’t pass the test and they never adhered to this treaty and today they speak against Iran.”
He said, “In the post-JCPOA era, we saw that the Zionists and the wretched states of the region accompanied the enemies and didn’t even protest against the cruel sanctions and even supported them. Once again, international organizations and the United Nations Security Council refused them. The organizations must stand against the sanctions and betrayals and issue resolutions but they didn’t do such a thing.”
Ayatollah Arafi said, “Iran will stand up to the enemies with pride and honour and defeat the sanctions but other countries of the world have been humiliated because the United States considers itself to be the sheriff and doesn’t consider the rest of mankind.”
The member of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution noted that today, the enemies want to intensify the sanctions but the Iranian people, who endured great hardships, stand firmly against its enemies and shouts “hayhat minna al-dhillah” [‘we will never be humiliated’].
He said, “The enemies dream of defeating the Islamic Revolution and sending Islam to the grave. We Iranians are patient and tolerant but as we are the children of Ramadhan and Muharram, the IRGC, the Basij, the popular forces and the Islamic Resistance Front stands against the arrogant powers.”
Proclaiming support for the statement of the Supreme National Security Council and the country’s actions against the enemies, Ayatollah Arafi said, “These steps are praised and the people are telling the authorities to stand and continue the path of resistance with vigilance and wisdom.”
