Rasa – The member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary referred to the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization by the United States and said, “The popularity of the IRGC has increased the authority of this powerful arm of the ummah and the consultations of President Trump put the United States on a steep slope.” RNA – Speaking at a large gathering of members of the seminarians at Qom’s Feyziyeh Seminary, Ayatollah Sayyed Ahmad Khatami, a member of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminary, condemned the designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and said, “Peace and greeting of God be upon you who are present at any position which is indictive of the revolutionary Islamic seminaries.”
The temporary Friday prayer leader of Tehran said that the presence of the scholars, teachers and seminarians have gathered together in the epicentre and birthplace of the Islamic Revolution is very valuable and added, “This gathering expresses hatred of the evil dance of the arrogant powers.”
He referred to the demands of the revolutionary seminaries and stated, “These revolutionary seminaries are active in the context of the events of the Revolution and have been good in assisting the flood victims and providing relief for the people.”
In regard to the United States’ designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization, Ayatollah Khatami said, “We are all gathered to shout that we are all Islamic Revolutionary Guards.”
His Eminence argued that this designation is due to the fact that the United States seeks to expose the Islamic system and noted, “The American government isn’t only a terrorist but rather it is a nurturer of terrorists.”
He said that the gathering of scholars of religion explicitly stated that the American military is a full-fledged terrorist army, pointing out, “The statements by American leaders about atomic bombs, human rights and terrorism is nothing more than an overstatement and the Islamism of the Islamic Revolution has been targeted.”
Ayatollah Khatami emphasized that the IRGC has always protected Islam with their lives and hearts and we are standing by our pure Islam until the last drop of our blood and said, “By the grace of God Almighty, the popularity of the IRGC has increased the authority of this powerful arm of the ummah and the consultations of President Trump put the United States on a steep slope.”
His Eminence stated that the designation of the IRGC as a terrorist organization was a request from Saudi Arabia and stated, “With the prediction of the Supreme Leader in his first speech this year, God-willing, it won’t be long before the rule of the House of Saud will fall.”
