RNA – A number of young and revolutionary seminarians scholars from the Islamic Seminary of Qom met with Ayatollah Seyyed Hashem Hoseyni-Bushehri, the deputy head of the Society of Seminary Teachers of Qom and the secretary of the Supreme Council of the Islamic Seminaries, in an intimate atmosphere with the objective of expressing their gratitude for the magnificent rally of the Seminary of Qom in support of the statement of “The Second Phase of the Islamic Revolution” issued by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei, on March 3rd.
During this meeting, His Eminence said, “We believe in the development, revolutionary nature, and the liveliness of the seminary. This seminary is living due to the liveliness of the young seminarians. Our revolution was formed with the same young seminarians and scholars.”
He added, “If the pure enthusiasm, consciousness and sensibilities of young seminarians didn’t exist at that time alongside Imam Khomeyni, do not doubt that this revolution wouldn’t have materialized in the same manner that it did.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri stressed that we owe our revolution to the younger generation of the seminaries at that time and said, “The continuation of the Islamic Revolution is also borne by the current young generation of the seminaries. I don’t say this with exaggeration but this is a heart belief of mine. Many are trying to position the seminary against the revolution or make it have nothing to do with the revolution or not concerned but they will not succeed.”
His Eminence continued, “One of the reasons for the seminary to remain revolutionary is the presence of young seminarians in the scene. We saw this in the Sacred Defence [Iran-Iraq War] and the young martyrs were one of the great honours for the seminary.”
Ayatollah Hoseyni-Bushehri emphasized, “It has been seen that you, the young seminarians, are on the scene alongside experienced, caring, visionary and intellectual teachers and benefit from their guidelines and experiences. This is very happy and blessed. The rally which took place last Sunday [March 3rd] at Feyziyeh Seminary was a symbol of this holy convergence of youth and elders.”
