Sheikh Nabil Qaouq, the member of the Lebanese Hezbollah Executive Board, attending the ceremony held in the Hussainiah of Bereshit region for commemoration of a Hezbollah’s martyr said, “the Resistance Front performs its responsibility protecting the public interests and defending our compatriots against the thieves of the public treasury (Bayt al-Mal), moreover it is not limited to a single sect or region, and it is general.”
He added, “Stealing from the public treasury has seriously escalated up to a level that threatens all people. Therefore, regardless of the political, religious and regional orientation, we should protect it.”
The member of the central board of Hezbollah pointed out, it is a religious and moral obligation for the Lebanese Hezbollah to rise and battle corruption. This battle is not aimed at a single person, official, party, sect or region, as tackling the corruption should never be carried out for personal retaliation.”
