Rasa – The revered source of emulation considered the sanctions and conspiracies of the enemies against Iran’s Islamic system as a result of their numerous defeats on behalf of the Islamic Revolution. RNA – Speaking at a ceremony unveiling the productions of the Technology Centre and Informational Database at Amir al-Momenin Seminary in Qom, Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem-Shirazi appreciated all those involved in the Technology Centre and Informational Database and said, “Fortunately, you have had useful, effective and diverse programs in different sections for various age groups and this is something appreciative.”
The revered source of emulation referred to a hadith from Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq which states, “One who is aware of the [social problems of his] time is less likely to be burdened by doubts or commit errors” and stated, “This hadith is very meaningful – the one who is aware is someone who recognizes his time and knows what needs, dangers and shortcomings exist on his path.”
Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi emphasized, “There have never been as many moral, social and religious problems in any other era as much as we have had in our time. Additionally, we know that problems have increased in our country because the enemies have received a huge blow from our Revolution and our country.”
Emphasizing that the Islamic Revolution defeated the enemies’ weapons and policies, His Eminence added, “The conspiracies of the enemies that have become more intense during the current era due to the defeats that they have received from us.”
He stated, “There are two sets of solutions in response to the attacks on belief and the [spread of] moral corruption. Some say that nothing can be done in this regard and pray that the Imam al-Mahdi will reappear. This is a passive and unacceptable response.”
Ayatollah Makarem-Shirazi said, “Against this culture, we have an active and logical strategy. We have a rich culture that can solve all problems. If we strengthen this spirit and our thinking and rely on God and engage in jihad on his path, certainly we will overcome our problems in a satisfactory manner. This is a Quranic promise.”
