RNA – Speaking at a gathering of seminarians entitled “The Islamic Seminaries and the Second Step of the Islamic Revolution” at the Mausoleum of Imam Khomeyni in Tehran, Ayatollah Ali-Akbar Sadeqi-Rashad, the head of the policy-making council at the Islamic Seminaries of Tehran Province, said, “Every year we attend this ceremony together with the principals and authorities of the seminaries and thousands of seminarians, in order to renew the ideals of the late Imam Khomeyni and the Islamic Revolution.”
The member of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution added, “This covenant is due to the issuance of the charter of the clergy and the second phase of the roadmap for the Islamic Revolution. Today’s gathering indicates the readiness of the seminaries to try to implement the second phase of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s roadmap.”
Ayatollah Sadeqi-Rashad added, “Today, the seminaries sign a treaty in the presence of this great gathering with its two leader to take this phase, word by word, into consideration. The seminary has a great mission in the second step of the Revolution. The seminary is the axis of the Revolution and the main factor in the Revolution.”
Stating that the Islamic Revolution was not a vain event, he stated, “One of the great missions of the seminary is the second forty-year period of the Revolution is cultural development. If the Islamic Revolution was a blast of light, today, after the passing of forty years, this light should be reflected in all parts of the world.”
Ayatollah Sadeqi-Rashad stated that the first task of the Islamic Revolution was to overthrow that sinister regime but its second mission was state-building and the result of this state-building would be building a society.
“Today, we must be able to succeed in the state-building phase,” he stated.
