RNA - The head of the Iran’s seminary said, “Curretly it is necessary to offer new endowment patterns in accordance with the needs of the society, and there should be new research projects for that.”
Ayatollah Alireza Arafi said, “An efficient approach should be applied to attract people’s trust to the System of the Endowment Organization.”
“Eliminating the importance and status of the endowment is one of the great treason of the Pahlavi kings. Of course, they did not believe in religious principles and issues such as endowment, and only considered personal interest”, he added.
He continued that it is imperative that the Seminary members address the issue of endowment more than the past and that study and research more on the social impact of endowments.”
Stating that offering the new patterns for endowment is one of the important needs of current society, he said, “It is better to predict the future developments in the text of the endowment, and this very thing can persuade the community to endowments.”
