RNA – Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad-Sa’id al-Hakim, a prominent jurisprudent in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf, met with a group of university students and lauded the Iraqi people for defending the country and religious sanctities.
He called on the university students to warn the younger generation against destructive cultures and said, “It is a shame that some young people support a culture which leads the country towards collapse.”
Ayatollah al-Hakim stressed, “The truths should be explained to the youths so that they return to the right path and religion since that is the sole way to salvation and protection of the society against the enemies.”
The cleric hailed the piety of Iraqi people and concluded, “The commitment of the Iraqi people to religious beliefs and their contribution to religious ceremonies as well as their defence of their country have made the world feel proud of Iraqi people.”
