RNA – In an exclusive interview with Rasa News Agency, Mr. Mohammad-Hasan Qadiri-Abyaneh, the director of the Association of Elites of the Islamic World, said that the compromisers always create a mirage of a solution of the problems for the people and they themselves cause many problems in the country and said, “Western-oriented individuals and those who claim to be reformers don’t trust in the people and the abilities of their own country and think that the progress of the country depends on having a relationship with the United States, although having a relationship with the United States is actually surrendering to its demands.”
He added, “That is why the media of the arrogant countries and their stooges, especially during the election period, have supported and promoted this faction because they believe that in the case of the rule of reformers and Western-oriented individuals, they can impose their demands to the detriment of the people of Iran.”
Stating that the current trend of Western-oriented individuals is that they are always trying to solve the country’s problems in the context of communicating with the West, Mr. Qadiri-Abyaneh said, “The heroic exercise wherein the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution [Ayatollah Khamenei] allowed negotiations with the P5+1 group of countries was made with the knowledge that the talks would be ineffective but the advantage of this heroic exercise was that the people observed that through the negotiations, Western-oriented individuals, even by reaching a very weak agreement which was to the detriment of Iran and despite the commitment of the P5+1 group of countries and the approval of the United Nations Security Council, didn’t fulfill their obligations.”
He continued, “President Hasan Rouhani was expecting the lifting of sanctions from the first day of the implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) and after the execution of all his commitments and the destruction a significant part of Iran’s nuclear power but the sanctions weren’t only not reduced by the Obama administration, nor by the Trump administration, but rather we have seen them increased and exacerbated. Therefore, the benefit of this heroic exercise was that it brought awareness to the public that neither the United States nor the West can be trusted and negotiating and engaging with them won’t reduce their hostility.”
Mr. Qadiri-Abyaneh added, “Not only haven’t the Western-oriented movement accepted responsibility for its actions yet but it always puts the blame for not achieving their illusions on the necks of others and escapes transparency for its actions by fleeing.”
