RNA – In his Friday prayer sermon to a large and fervent crowd of believers in the Beirut ‎suburb of Haret Hrayk’s Imamayn al-Hasanayn Mosque, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Ali Fadhlullah ‎called for an end to the Saudi-led war on Yemen and said, “This war has not had any ‎achievements for the enemies except for starvation, illness and the killing of innocent people ‎of Yemen. It must be ended as soon as possible.”‎

Referring to the presence of a Yemeni delegation in Rimbo, Sweden for negotiations, the ‎head of the al-Fikr al-‘Amili [Practical Thought] Association of Lebanon added, “Everyone ‎needs to know that war is not a good solution to achieve one’s goals and disputes and ‎problems must be resolved through dialogue.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Fadhlullah referred to recent Israeli actions on the Lebanese border and in the ‎occupied territories of Palestine in order that they can explore the tunnels of the Islamic ‎Resistance Front and said, “The Zionist media accuse the Islamic Resistance Front of ‎violating the various resolutions that violate Lebanese sovereignty via air, land and sea every ‎day and night.”‎

The Lebanese Shi’ah scholar called for the Lebanese people to unite against the enemies and ‎said, “The Lebanese people must abandon the debate about the necessity of having the ‎Islamic Resistance Front in the country and maintain their zeal and vigilance against the ‎Zionist regime.”‎

Hujjat al-Islam Fadhlullah added, “According to what the media and the authorities of the ‎Zionist regime have repeatedly acknowledged, this regime is afraid of confronting the Islamic ‎Resistance Front.”‎
