RNA – During his Friday prayer sermon delivered to a large and fervent crowd of believers in the Iraqi holy city of Najaf’s al-Fatimiyah al-Kubra Husayniyah, Hujjat al-Islam Sayyid Sadruddin al-Qubanchi said, “In a meeting with Ján Kubiš, the Special Representative and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq, Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani presented a roadmap for improving the situation of Iraq for the government, people and members of parliament.”
The Iraqi Shi’ah scholar added, “Ayatollah al-Sistani has asked the political parties to work with the government to improve the situation, protect the sovereignty of the country and prevent any interference in the internal affairs of Iraq.”
He said, “Fighting corruption, using opportunities to rebuilt the areas destroyed during the era of terrorist attacks by Daesh against Iraq, bringing refugees back and improving services are among the demands of this source of emulation.”
Hujjat al-Islam al-Qubanchi condemned the actions by the Congress of the United States in sanctioning some Iraqi organizations under the pretext of cooperating with the Islamic Republic of Iran and said, “Iran is a supporter of Iraq and has provided a lot of help in protecting the security of the country and expelling the Daesh terrorist movement from the country.”
His Eminence described such actions by the United States as a clear intervention in Iraq’s affairs, and stated, “These oppressive allegations are false and reflect the stupidity and decline of the United States.”
He continued, “While the United States is taking such actions, it has been silent in regard to the arrival of more than 5,000 terrorists from Saudi Arabia to Iraq. These sorts of actions of the United States demonstrates its savagery, not civilization.”
Hujjat al-Islam al-Qubanchi said, “The Popular Mobilization Forces and our various political parties and institutions continue to work with the Islamic Republic of Iran and any country that cooperated with us during the Iraq’s war against terrorism.”
He referred the trips by the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad ibn Salman, to some of the countries of the Middle East and said, “These trips were fruitless and the Tunisian people condemned ibn Salman’s trip to their country.”
Hujjat al-Islam al-Qubanchi stressed that Interpol must arrest this killer who has committed various brutal crimes.
